As we’ve continued through our journey toward 3D bioprinting a viable heart for human transplant, we’ve been fortunate to receive an incredible outpouring of support from the transplant community. Whether it’s sharing personal transplant stories or advocating for the future of our technology, it can’t be understated how much the community’s support means to us and how excited we are to continue the conversation.
As such, we’re happy to announce today that Steven Morris, BIOLIFE4D CEO, will be speaking at the next Organ Transplant Support meeting on March 6 in Downers Grove, IL. Morris will speak to pre- and post-transplant recipients and their families about the future of 3D bioprinting and how the technology can innovate organ transplantation. Morris will explain the Company’s proprietary process for 3D bioprinting, which recently produced a mini-human heart. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions about the technology and to find out how it will impact the future of heart transplants.
“We’ve been so thankful for the support we have received from the transplant community, so any time we have the opportunity to give back and engage, we are happy to do so. I’m very much looking forward to speaking with all of the recipients and their families in attendance next Friday evening and learning about their own personal journeys,” said Morris. “OTS is a terrific resource for transplant families and we are proud to work with the organization to showcase how technology can impact the future of medicine and hopefully, change the lives of many families in the future.”
